Job Description:

Education: Bachelor's degree in MechanicalElectricalIndustrial Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperienceRequirements: Minimum three years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience with electronic and mechanical components, PCBs, and assemblies in a high reliability electronic manufacturing environmentKnowledge and experience with AS9100ISO9000 quality systems including performing fullpartial FAI's per AS9102Technical knowledge of advanced PCBA manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, and related assembly processes and requirements, including AS91009102; IPC-A-610; and J-STD-001Strong analytical skills with proven experience utilizing a variety of Quality tools and systems such as: DOE, 8D, FMEA, SPC, RCCA, APQP, PPAP, controls plans, material control, process control, product evaluation, MSA, metrology, and automated measurementDemonstrated ability to review and interpret drawings and specifications, utilizing inspection tools and proper understanding of GD&TExperience assessing suppliers manufacturing and quality processes through supplier auditsAbility to travel when necessaryPossess, or able to obtain, a U.S. Government granted security clearanceResponsibilities include, but are not limited to: Interface with suppliers regarding quality issues and assist in the failure analysis efforts for non-conformances, implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actionSupport suppliers in the evaluation of existing processes, identification of opportunities for improvement, and development of solutions to optimize supplier performance utilizing preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)Perform on-site supplier audits as needed, for root cause analysis and verification of corrective and preventive actions of supplier quality issues; audits may include, but not limited to the following: AS9100 Compliance Audits, APQP audits, Process and Product auditsLead MRB activities to achieve optimal disposition of non-conforming material and ensure that adequate corrective actions are implementedCompletes and assists in AS9102 First Article Inspections to contracts and prints, ensuring conformance to specificationsAnalyzes supplier performances to identify continuous improvement opportunities and participate in driving high product quality, continuous improvement, and increased customer satisfactionManages, analyzes, and publishes Supplier Quality Assurance Reports including process yields, defectroot cause analysis, and associated corrective actionsDesigns and implements methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of Supplier products and materialPerforms other related duties as assigned
