The Area Manager learns and understands all of the roles in the company, including the commissary manager role, barista role, roastery and warehouse roles, and works within every level of the company as the Operations Manager needs, from hiring and training team members, developing quality assurance programs, adhering to budgets, and strategizing process improvements for efficient, timely, and accurate task completion. As the Area Manager, you will have a social responsibility and opportunity to lead your team through positive communication, positioning each team member to highlight their strengths while setting them up for success and being the backbone of the quality product we deliver.The Area Manager is responsible for creating a culture that reflects the company values, increasing sales and profits through sound financial management, and providing leadership, direction, and support to the Cafe Managers. Keeping all locations running by providing support and relief to different departments as needed by the Operations Manager is essential. The overall goal of the Area Manager is to ensure the successful operations of the cafes in their portfolio and consistently demonstrate and enforce company policies, practices, and procedures.
