TRIXIE is looking for talented team members to help grow our omnichannel revenue and expand our North American customer base.As a Sales Manager at TRIXIE Pet Products, you will be a primary point of contact for both existing and future wholesale customers, focusing on key account service, new account setup and product sales. You will work closely with the management team and customer marketing manager to drive sales and promotions. You will be also responsible for working in retailer portals and fulfilling information requests. This position requires a professional, motivated, and responsible individual who can manage multiple customer relationships and is comfortable with new customer acquisition and outside sales.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESBe initial point of contact for multiple existing, assigned accountsBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsInitiate contact with pet specialty distributors and present our special line of productsMaintain distributor relationships and grow the existing linesPresent our portfolio of products to existing prospects for additional opportunitiesIdentify and resolve client concerns; conduct local in person customer visits as neededProcess customer orders and follow-up regularly with key customer contactsEnter new prospective clients into our ERPRespond to RFQ's (Request for Quotes)Process monthly reporting or billing reconciliations as neededADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate regularly with both buyers and sales repsAssist management on various tasks as they ariseTravel for customer visits and trade show attendanceRepresent TRIXIE while training distributor sales reps and clientsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS3+ years of Sales, Marketing or Account Management ExperienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA demonstrated ability to manage, prioritize and complete multiple tasksExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalMicrosoft Office Strong interpersonal skillsMotivated and goal orientedQUALIFICATIONSBasic Qualifications:Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceBackground in Sales, Marketing or Customer Service preferredTravel will be required to customer sitesCandidate must have effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or with teamsgroup Preferred Qualifications:Prefer 3 to 5 years' experience in sales marketing job functionBusiness Information Systems familiarityKnowledge of pet products and farm & feed industry is a plus
