Job Description:

Overview:This role primarily focuses on the effective implementation of environmental remediation projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in work planning, sequencing, and staff management to ensure the successful execution of field construction projects within specified scopes, schedules, and budgets, meeting all contractual requirements.Key Responsibilities:Project Oversight:Manage projects at multiple sites with minimal direct supervisionSupervise multidisciplinary tasks with integral scheduling componentsHealth and Safety:Take direct responsibility for implementing, overseeing, and reinforcing all ERRG and client Health and Safety requirementsTeam Leadership:Direct field personnel, equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors in planning and executing workInterpret specifications and coordinate various construction phases to prevent delays and maintain project progressDocumentation:Complete accurate daily field documentationDemonstrate a strong command of means and methods for construction activitiesContract Understanding:Understand and recognize contract requirementsIdentify potential changed conditions or out-of-scope itemsCost Management:Assist in preparing cost estimates with appropriate backupProactively anticipate and minimize schedule conflictsEnsure daily activities conform to budget and scheduleProcurement:Procure materials and negotiate with vendorssubcontractorsAccident Investigation:Complete initial accident investigation documentation and related actions, such as SOP development and H&S stand downsProject Support:Attend site walks, solicit subcontractor quotes, prepare estimates, and assist in submitting proposalsTechnical Skills:Utilize computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suiteRecognize and initiate efficiency improvementsCollaboration and Goal Setting:Work directly with senior management to establish long and short-term goalsCost Projection:Assist in projecting cost to complete and preparing change order documentation when necessaryTeam Supervision:Supervise and contribute to the career development of up to 10 direct craft reportsTravel:Ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time to project sites across multiple states for project execution, as neededRequirementsMinimum Qualifications:8 years of experience leading environmental cleanup, soil remediation, demodecon, or habitat restoration projectsDemonstrated experience with multi-disciplinary staff executing construction projectsSupervisor TrainingPreferred Qualifications:40-Hour HAZWOPER training and currently 8-Hour HAZWOPER RefresherUSACEDepartment of Defense (DoD) contract experienceUSACE QC TrainingOSHA 30-hour Training
