Position SummaryThe Mortgage Fulfillment Underwriter ensures that the assets reviewed meet all applicable investor guidelines, through a complete knowledge of requirements and regulations. As the Underwriter, you will be held accountable for quality and accuracy of decisions. Essential DutiesDecisions full range of mortgage loans, preferably including FHA loansReview all mortgage applications and documentation for accuracy and completenessWork with clients to prepare mortgage applications and related documentation as needed, help resolve any outstanding issuesWork with compliance officers to ensure Federal, State, and local compliance of all mortgage and loan materialsApprove or deny mortgages on a timely basisPerform other related duties as required and assignedDemonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values Position RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience3+ years of frontline mortgage underwriting experience required with FHA knowledgeSolid knowledge of mortgage underwriting and of basic automated underwriting systemsProficiency with basic automated underwriting systemsKnowledge of mortgage laws and regulations required, including Home Mortgage Disclosure ActKnowledge of state and federal agency mortgage loan guidelines and regulations helpfulTravel Requirements: na Mission and VisionWe are a superior consulting firm focused on helping clients achieve their dreams and address complex situations with inspired people, deep expertise, and innovative technologies.We are a perpetual career and opportunity enterprise, focused on building long-term benefits for our people and communities.
