Regional Sales RepresentativeOur company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Regional Sales Representative, that will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing. The Regional Sales Representative position is primarily responsible for maximizing customer retention, and aggressive growth within their assigned territory. Responsibilities include:Prospecting & generating new businessSecuring customer renewalsCross-selling and up-sellingBuilding and cultivating customer relationshipsConsultative selling to solve customer challenges by strategizing comprehensive solutionsForecasting opportunity outcomesStrategic account planning and execution for territory growthMeeting sales goals and objectives assigned by VP, Sales & MarketingPreparing a variety of status reports, including itinerary, activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goalsIdentifying and resolving client concernsDeveloping and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledgeAdditional Responsibilities:·        Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.·        Follow-up for collection of payment as needed.Salary Base Range: $70,000 - $80,000 + Uncapped CommissionLocation: This position is based in the North NJDownstate NY region. Candidates must currently live in the defined region or close proximity, and is a remote position. Must have own transportation as this role requires considerable travel.Travel: Travel up to 40% is required and considered an essential function of the jobJob Requirements:Minimum Requirements:·     Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work experience·     Experience selling technology products (3+ years)Ability to manage full-cycle opportunities using CRM and other sales technologyExtensive experience working on a regular basis with school district administrators and executives preferred, but not requiredDemonstrated experience creatively problem solving as neededSolid understanding of the educational market a plusDemonstrated consistent success against assigned goals selling educational software (5+ years) or technology.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborateAbility to plan and execute strategies and initiativesNegotiation skills
