Overview: Zimmer Communications is growing! We are looking to add a new social media specialist to our Columbia team. The social media specialist would be responsible for strategically growing Zimmer clients' social media audience and engagement alongside our social media team. Social Media is fun and we have fun doing it! Our Social Media Team is able to be creative and have fun while helping our clients grow with this creative marketing strategy.Responsibilities:Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identificationGenerate, edit, and publish daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take actionModerate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community, when applicable.Create editorial calendars and syndication schedulesContinuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social datametrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the informationCollaborate with client to go over analytics and finalize strategy for social platforms.Work with Zimmer properties to help grow our brands and train our associatesRequirements:Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialistExcellent consulting, writing, editing (photovideotext), presentation and communication skillsDemonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledgePositive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability1-2 years experience with Facebook AdsVideo production experienced is preferredBS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public RelationsCompensationBenefits:Excellent benefits including a 401K, medical packages including optional dental and vision.Vacation accrual from day 1Paid holidaysOngoing training both in group meetings and individual one-on-one supportRecognition awardsZimmer Communications is an equal opportunity employer.
