With strategically located nationwide service centers via Nationalease, Autow delivers wide-ranging transportation services including full-service leasing, commercial truck rental, dedicated services, logistics, Commercial Truck Fleet Services, and Commercial Trailer Repair services via sister company Music City Trailer & Repair. Autow Owns and or operates a commercial truck fleet in excess of over 1000 vehicles. AUTOW is currently in search of a strategic and action-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) andor Controller. The CFOCONTROLLER will provide complete oversight for the accounting and financial management function while serving as a trusted business advisor for AUTOW's President and Senior Management Team.Reporting to the President of AUTOW, our CFOCONTROLLER will provide:Executive Leadership: As an integral part of Autow's senior leadership team, the CFOCONTROLLER will participate in leading the organization's growth plan and ensuring that profit is maximized in a manner consistent with the company culture. Direct the company's financial goals, objectives, and budgets. Reinforce accountability for financial results and controls across the organization. Serve as a lead representative in professional business partnerships including managing Autow's many banking relationships and advisory services (e.g., accounting, insurance, law firms).Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of the organization's financial reporting, accounting procedures, controls, and performance analysis. Report on past performance and prepare future goals & and projections. Also, Safeguard that the company complies with all finance, accounting, and multiple business requirements. Provide impactful financial reporting including value-added dashboards to senior management.Budget Process Management: Oversee the budgetary process including capital equipment. Provide the forecasting and analysis necessary to maintain ample access to capital at a competitive cost. Understand and address the tax implications for our assets. Execute financing strategy specific to new equipment procurement.Regarding Autow's accounting department: Build, coach, and, develop a strong team of high-performing, customer-centric employees. Provide oversight for the Billing Department. Oversee creditrisk area's of the companyCoach and enable staff to interact with all departments effectively.Ensure policies and procedures as well as best systems and controls are established, adopted, and, communicated with clarity.Customer Service: Customer service is a top priority at AUTOW. Respect for customers, employees, outside partners, and all other constituents, coupled with professional and ethical behavior, is expected at all times.Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, culminating in a strategic financial leadership role. Experience in a large and capital-intensive business with multiple locations is strongly desired.Skilled at managing and maximizing the strength of the balance sheet is a must.A strategic mindset and a strong eye for finance and risk are required. Prior experience in strategic planning and execution is desired.Excellent business acumen and financial analysis skills. Able to identify and provide support for continuous profit improvement.Strong leadership record with demonstrated excellence at building and engaging a high-performing team while being a leader among peers.Strong knowledge base in credit and risk management required. Demonstrated expertise in commercial insurance and success in collections oversight also required.Proven ability and desire to proactively assess existing processes and systems and to identify and implement process improvements also desired.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. An advanced degree in a related field is desirable. CPA andor experience in public accounting is preferred.Familiarity with and an appreciation for family-owned companies is necessary. Confidentiality is critical.Other Skills & Experience Desired:Ability to grasp technology, and understand the capabilities of accounting systems. Self-sufficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, while demonstrating the ability to delegate tasks appropriately and maintain attention to detail.Must excel in an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment. A willingness to take on new responsibilities is necessary.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, inclusive of the ability to interact and work well across all levels of the company.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflict fairly and consistently.
