The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the plant operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.Responsibilities:Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue RecognitionPrepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsCoordinate the preparation of regulatory reportingResearch technical accounting issues for complianceSupport month-end and year-end close processEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingManage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA requiredMinimum 7 years of experience as a Plant Controller or in a similar roleExperience in manufacturing or related industry preferredProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time-management
