Construction Project Manager Position Overview: As a Construction Project Manager, you'll be instrumental in the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects. This role encompasses comprehensive coordination, including budget oversight, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance. The objective is to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion, while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.Client Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Match - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays Project Planning & Development: Formulate a comprehensive project plan, encompassing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.Prepare and review project contracts, specifications, and drawings.Obtain necessary permits and approvals.Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Budget Management:Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures and cost control.Prepare and present cost estimates to stakeholders.Identify cost-saving opportunities and address cost overruns promptly.Scheduling and Time Management:Create and oversee project schedules and timelines.Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement schedule adjustments as needed.Ensure timely achievement of project milestones.Resource Management:Allocate and supervise project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.Maintain an updated resource allocation plan.Quality Control:Develop and implement robust quality control processes and procedures.Ensure construction work adheres to industry standards and project specifications.Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance checks Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and devise effective risk mitigation strategies.Address and resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely manner.Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory munication:Act as the primary liaison for all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.Cultivate a culture of effective communication and collaboration within the project team.Documentation:Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily construction logs.Ensure all project records are organized and readily accessible.Client Relationship Management:Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships, addressing their concerns and requirements.Manage client expectations and ensure overall satisfaction.Post-Construction Activities:Oversee project closeout, including final inspections, punch lists, and handover to the client.Address warranty claims and promptly resolve any post-construction issues.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Several years of hands-on experience in construction project management.Proficiency in project management software and -depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a strong advantage.
