Job Description:

This is a Hybrid position, 5050 home and office based.What will you contribute?The Senior Product Manager manages life cycles of assigned lending products or services to optimize profit and meet client expectations, marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. This includes business case development, market research, development of product marketing strategies, defect and enhancement prioritization, and strategies associated with new and existing products(s). Collaborate with the Development teams on product requirements, design, documentation and risk mitigation strategies.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Provides overall direction for consumer product enhancements and general product development requirementsCreates recommendations and feature definition to address current client needs, and market opportunitiesIdentifies product market opportunities through market research, customer profiling, needs analysis, market sizing and competitive analysis Develop and implement product strategies and partnership opportunities consistent with company visionServes as the key contact for assigned product and product line for questions and new product ideas which surface from customers, partners, field sales, market research, and other stakeholders. Identifies and analyzes critical issues related to the product design and promotion of the product(s)Works with product marketing department to develop effective communication activities and programs including advertising, events management, product positioning and marketing content for assigned product(s)Leads product focus groups for assigned product(s). Leads user conference sessions, and web-based updates on assigned product(s) or industry topicsAdministers company policies and procedures which affect assigned product(s)Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for Product Management processesManages the resolution of escalated customer questions and problemsProvide support to the sales organization regarding sales demonstrations and any other assistance needed through the sales process. Work with regional sales managers and CRM's to articulate product positioning and pricingCollaborates with technical communications writers to develop proper and thorough documentation (internal and external) describing enhancements as appropriateParticipate in design, documentation, and QA testing when neededOther duties as assignedRequirementsDeep understanding of consumer lending and the banking industry. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills neededTechnical knowledge including comprehension of technical architectures, database structures and software development principalsStrong organizational and planning skills with a history of successful execution of plansPossess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
