We hang our hat on a good, safe day's work and our ability to do the job to the best of our ability.Payroll Clerk Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Payroll Team, candidates will work together to process weekly payrolls for 10,000+ construction employees. Duties to include:importing time and attendance data from construction sitesprocessing payroll payments in payroll softwaremaintaining benefit deductions, direct deposit, garnishmentsmaintaining salary and pay rate changesimplementing internal controls to ensure accurate paymentsensuring compliance with regulations and company policiesfrequent communication with Field Accountants at project sitesreplacing lost checksQualificationsA positive attitude and strong work ethic are the most important contributors to success at our company. Specific training will be provided on our accounting software, but a general level of computer literacy is required. Candidates should be prepared to work on a close-knit team to meet weekly deadlines. Strong attention to detail is a must. Prior construction industry experience is a plus but not required.The Payroll position is a full-time office-based position.
