We set the industry standards in customer reliability, quality and service. Truelove & Maclean offers a generous compensation package including 401k contributions, profit sharing, premium overtime pay, and a steady work schedule. ResponsibilitiesDiagnose machine malfunctions and conduct repairsProperly plan for large maintenance projects by ensuring sufficient tools, equipment, material, and parts are on-hand when neededManage inventory of spares to minimize machine downtime and expediting costsBuild and dismantle complex machine assembliesPerform regular inspections of machines and equipmentIdentify vulnerabilities on equipment and establish preventive maintenance plans to mitigate those risksSchedule and complete preventive maintenance tasks at a required frequencyIdentify opportunities to improve preventive maintenance plans and reduce unscheduled downtimeRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, manuals and specificationsKeep documented information organized and up-to-date, such as maintenance records, work instructions, blueprints, spares inventory, and purchasing records.Operate metal working tools to make and repair parts; use brake and shear for metal fabrication; cutting torches and plasma cutter; weld parts and repair electrical wiring; fabricate guards and frames for production machines; prepare and paint equipment and building facilities as requiredFollow all safety rules and regulations and maintain training in Lock-outTag-out, Welding and Cutting Safety, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response.Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area. QualificationsSuccessful completion of Machinist apprenticeship or 5 to 7 years' experience repairing US Baird andor Waterbury-Farrel Transfer Presses
