Job Description:

As a Journeyman Plumber, you will support commercial construction projects by installing plumbing systems.Job DutiesCommercial plumbing installation from undergroundrough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial healthcare projectsInstall hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other terpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site.Use of copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.Duties could include setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, and utility hookups, etc.Requirements5 + years of commercial plumbing experienceJourneyman plumbing license in applicable stateMedical Gas Certification, or ability to obtainAbility to read blueprints and shop drawingsPossess hand tools and trade-specific toolsAbility to direct the work of a helper or apprenticeOSHA 10 hour (the company will provide if needed)Able to work from ladders and man lifts from various heights and operate the equipment as neededAbility to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.General RequirementsAbility to pass a full background screening, MVR, and drug screeningAbility to pass a physical ability testWillingness to work overtime, travel and work a flexible schedule (including weekends, as required by project) CompensationWage Range Starting at: $25.00+hr. based on qualifications & experiencePaid weeklyComprehensive Benefits Competitive pay and incentivesMedical, Vision, DentalPaid holiday and vacation401(k) Plan with multiple investment optionsTraining and Development ProgramsCompany-paid Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee discount programsCompany-paid and voluntary life insuranceCompany-paid and voluntary accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D)Company-paid short-term disability and voluntary long-term disabilityHealthcare reimbursement account and dependent care reimbursement accountVehicle discount purchase programsDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
