Maintain producer commission model that summarizes YTD commissions against YTD Draw salary. Gather supporting documentation for auditors when requested. Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards monthly. Perform various month end duties such as booking intercompany entries, payroll entries, running producer commission statements and other routine JE's. Maintain vendor accrual and prepaid expense excel schedules that reconcile to the general ledger. Create various metric reports and distribute them weekly to the business regions. Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPS) and training documentation for new accounting processes being implemented. Perform regular evaluations of existing accounting policies to ensure everything is running smoothly. Prepared excel schedule of all multi-year policies for revenue recognition purposes. Maintained a daily cash report consisting of incoming and outgoing payments for various bank accounts. Recorded all contingency commission from various insurance carriers into excel spreadsheet for analytical purposes such as variances of actualbudget and current yearprior year. Prepared a billing summary on a weekly basis to upper management that compares actual billings to budgeted billings for a particular month.Minimum 5-7 years of accounting and financial analysis experience. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance. Solid experience with general ledger analysis and general accounting. Must have strong MS Office (Excel, PivotTables, VLOOKUPS), Macros, etc.
