Our client, a global bank with a NY branch, is currently looking to expand their Accounting function with an Financial & Regulatory Reporting ManagerThis a great opportunity to work within a lean function, where you will have exposure to several areas within the bank's regulatory reporting and accounting department. This role will be able to start remotely, with long-term expectation of returning to office later this year.ResponsibilitiesPeriodic regulatory report preparation and filings with the Federal Reserve (Fed), Department of Financial Services (DFS) and Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). Fed reports include FFIEC002, FR2644, FR2900 and TIC Reports (BC, BL, BQ3); DFS reports include Pledged Assets and CIMA reports include QPR and LBS.Monitoring periodic regulatory communications and updates from Fed, DFS and CIMA as applicable to report filing responsibilities.Ensuring that the Accounting operations are in line with prevailing policies and regulations such as US GAAP and IFRS.Assist with all functions within the Accounts Payable process, including but not limited to all Corporate Credit Cards allocationsprocessing, and assisting with vendor invoice processing during peak periods.Active participation in system implementations aimed at creating process improvements.Building relations and securing cooperation with relevant Divisionsbusiness units and strategic partners.Securing compliance with internal policies and rules as well as ensuring that external rules and regulations are complied with.QualificationsAt least 6+ years' of experience.Relevant accountingreporting experience -particularly US GAAP and IFRS.Microsoft Office suite. Strong Excel skills required.Preference for someone with global banking experienceThe salary range for this position is from $130,000 - 170,000 Base
