Job Description:The Professional Pickleball Association is seeking a Food and Beverage Associate to oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations at our events and grow the sport of pickleball. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with alcohol regulations, maintain high-quality standards, and optimize customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating with venue staff, concessionaires, food trucks, caterers, and sponsors to deliver exceptional F&B experiences while meeting budgetary and partnership requirements.Responsibilities:Ensure alcohol compliance at all events by maintaining a full liquor license and enforcing all relevant regulations.Collaborate with venue staff andor beverage concessionaires to ensure PPA standards are met at each event. This includes:Purchasing all required products and ensuring their availability.Staffing and operating all activations.Arranging food to meet quality and efficiency standards.Develop post-event reports to analyze product popularity and activation success. Share these reports with partners to inform future strategies and improvements.Source and negotiate with food trucks (when applicable) to service events. Negotiations may include revenue splits, staff incentives such as free lunch vouchers, etc.Work with venues and caterers to create specialized food menus for VIPs, Pro Players, and Referees. Ensure menus meet both financial budgets and quality standards.Collaborate with VIP fulfillment and Programming teams to develop F&B plans for designated areasactivities, ensuring exceptional service for VIP guests.Liaise with sponsorship teams to ensure all partner requirements related to food and beverage services are met and fulfilled. Provide support to partners as needed.Ensure all snack orders are created and ordered in a timely manner. Collaborate with VIP Fulfillment, Pro Player Liaison, and Tour Ops teams on snack logistics.Arrange ice plans for each event, coordinating with the Logistics Associate to ensure adequate supply for beverage cooling needs.Additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of food and beverage services at events.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Previous work experience in food and beverage management or in the event or hospitality industry preferred.Strong knowledge of alcohol regulations and compliance standards preferred.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings, including some nights, weekends, and holidays, and able and willing to travel to off-site events, etc., as needed.Experience in menu planning and development preferred.Previous experience in event sponsorship coordination preferred.Familiarity with food truck operations and vendor management preferred.Must be willing to be based out of our Dallas HQ with a 25% travel requirement to our PPA tour locations.
