We welcome driven and smart individuals of all backgrounds and experiences to apply for this position. DESCRIPTIONCaraa is seeking an exceptional sales manager with extensive wholesales experience in fashion handbags specifically. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our cross functional leadership team reporting directly to the CEO and the Creative Director. This is a unique role, and the right candidate is excited to be an early employee at an emerging premium handbag brand with the possibilities of growing together.This role requires you to be based in New York City and be fluent in English. REQUIREMENTSWhat you'll do: Account DevelopmentYou are expected to come into the role with an extensive network of handbag buyers and sourcing managers from retail stores and department stores.Identify new wholesale opportunities to continue business growth and increase brand awareness. Develop additional accounts in corporate gifting. Account ManagementPresent seasonal collection to retail partners and manage the order process including order entry and confirmations along with operations and logistics.Build and maintain relationships with key retail counterparts by providing exceptional customer service and support.Ensure wholesale KPIs are achieved each season with particular attention to pre-order bookings and on-time shipping.Provide diligent follow-through and management of accounts receivable.Partner with communications on seasonal product knowledge meetings and tradeshow execution. Tradeshow managementProduce and manage key tradeshows throughout the year.Manage and follow up with key leads met through targeted tradeshows.  Who you are & Requirements: 5+ years of prior experience in a similar role with a likeminded fashion brand, handbag preferred.Existing relationships with retail partners such as Nordstrom, Revolve, Net-a-Porter is a must, as well as a strong network with independent retailers.Must have 2+ years of experience in producing and manage fashion tradeshowsStrong analytical and retail math required.
