Check out the job details below and apply now!What StepUp has to offer you:Ability to make meaningful contributions to the local Wilmington communityCompetitive compensationFull medical and dental coverageGenerous paid time off, including 20 days paid time off and 10 paid holidays within your first yearSimple IRA matching plan after two years of serviceFlexible schedule with Fridays off workOn an average day, you will:Manage and build out our High School Youth Internship Program which includes identifying appropriate students, building relationships with community businesses, and supporting the student and their family to achieve a successful outcomeRepresent and share StepUp Wilmington's mission at high schools, colleges, churches, and other local organizationsFacilitate all aspects of our Future Leaders program each Wednesday night from 5pm-8pmProvide individual and family case management to participantsCoordinate and implement regular parent orientation meetingsRecruit, train, and empower volunteers to build and maintain strong youth programsPlan and implement curriculum for participants based on ageUtilize the Salesforce platform to input data and maintain records on participants, volunteers, and community partnersTo qualify for this job, you must have:Bachelor's Degree3+ years of nonprofit, social work, or related experienceExperience working in the New Hanover school districtWillingness and ability to communicate with participants, staff, volunteers, children and families of all ages and backgroundsExperience advocating, empathizing, coaching and counseling adults and childrenStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenStrong computer skills - Google Drive and Microsoft Applications (database experience preferred)Ability to work Wednesday evenings from 5pm-8pm ETEEO Statement:StepUp Wilmington is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity.
