Job Description:

My client is a rapidly growing RIA looking for an Associate Financial Planner to join their team.The AFP will support the firm in the preparation and presentation of financial plans and various planning analyses to clients. This includes the implementation of financial recommendations and acting as the "point person" on all planning questions and analyses. Duties will include gathering financial information from clients and inputting it into various financial planning software.Responsibilities:1. Work with Wealth Advisors to gain an understanding of the client's background and objectives.2. Present plans and various analyses to clients and act as the "point person" on all planning questions and analyses.3. Input client information into various web-based software (financial planning, tax planning, Social Security planning).4. Perform various financial analyses and reviews5. Create financial plans to be presented at meetings, update financial plans as necessary, and answer all planning questions for clients.6. Create and modify PowerPoint presentations to highlight financial plan data for client meetings.7. Assist clients with obtaining term life and long-term care insurance.8. Review and modify systems to enhance the financial planning experience.9. Review financial technology to improve services and financial planning processes.10. Put together PowerPoint decks and write articles on financial technology and how we use it.11. Create and send client communications on financial planning topics.12. Act as Salesforce liaison with Advisors.13. Special projects as assigned.Other Skills:1. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, eMoney, and MoneyGuidePro, and Salesforce experience preferred.2. Excellent phone and personal communication skills3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills4. Drive for professional growth5. Ability to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment and work independently6. Team-orientedEducation and Experience1. Bachelor's degree required.2.
