Electrical InstructorRole SummaryOur client is seeking an electrical instructor to join their rapidly growing team. Electrical Instructors will ensure ethical conduct, sound educational practices, and each student's academic development, with a focus on the mission and core values of the campus. In this position, the instructor delivers the approved curriculum to help students achieve their educational and career goals. Instructors will also manage their classrooms and promote a positive and engaging learning experience, providing support, tutoring, and other assistance as needed. Instructors are to "model" the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.Key Results AreaUtilize classroom and lab instruction, student assessment mechanisms, and classroom management techniques to provide an engaged classroom experience to studentsGuarantee that the student has been presented with the material to successfully meet the learning objectives of each course within a student's program of studyProvide the student with timely information and feedback on their academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework, and projectsEnsure that instructional materials and equipment are ready for student use, sufficient in quantity, are adequately maintained, and are in working order before class timeParticipate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development activities to ensure an active and engaged classroom experience for all students; maintain required certification and licensePossess a thorough knowledge and understanding of all school policies and actively participate in their implementation and enforcementActively participate in meetings, review and analyze assessment data, compile reports, and meet academic and administrative deadlinesEnsure campus compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory bodies' guidelines, along with internal policies of the companyOther duties as assignedSkills & QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, and proof of related vocational training program completion.Verifiable work experience: Five years of verifiable industry experience within the last ten yearsMust be able to teach evening classesMust be certified or licensed where required by lawStrong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse groups of employees and customersDemonstration of highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitudeAbility to work in an observationcoaching style environmentCapability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work within deadlinesSuperior organizational and problem-resolution skillsDemonstrated commitment to customer serviceSolid computer software skills, including Microsoft OfficeGoogle SuitePrior experience teaching in a proprietary education setting and experience with training employees within the industry.Knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations applicable to the proprietary education industryAdvatix®, Inc. is one of the world's leading providers of e-commerce Supply Chain and Logistics Consulting Services and Solutions that enable its clients to transform their operations for speed, service, and cost of fulfillment and delivery of goods and services.
