Position Summary:The Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the Financial Planning & Analysis team at Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA). This position will be responsible for assisting in the profitability planning and analysis at TMHNA.Core Competencies:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment as well as independentlyMotivated self-starter with a strong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and work ethicEssential Position Duties:Financial reportingFinancial analysisBusiness modelingforecastingAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerResponsibilities:Lead profitability planning and analysis for different business segments.Lead TMHNA's SG&A expense planning and analysisComplete various business cases and ROI for TMHNA investment proposals.Respond to ad hoc projects to support TMHNA business units and deliver reporting that is timely, accurate, and insightfulAssist in development of TMHNA's annual financial planAssist in preparation of monthly financial reports and packages requiring written and verbal presentations to management and executivesMaintain plan data within existing operating systemContinue to refine budgeting and reporting practicesProfessionally communicate with all levels within the organizationSpecific Knowledge and Skills:Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and assignmentsDetail orientedStrong analytical and financial modeling skillsAbility to research and resolve critical issues that are deadline drivenProcess oriented with the ability to define and implement new processes using business systemsapplicationsEducation & Experience:SAP experience preferred, but not required.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceProfessional certification preferred, but not required.1-2 years of related accountingfinance experience preferred, but not required.Physical Requirements Working Conditions:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
