With its own delivery fleet and two distribution centers located in Erie, Pa and Warren, Ohio - ECONSTEEL services PA, OH, NY, as well as customers across North America.Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Working directly with the President, Sales Manager, and Inside Sales team, we are expecting the Outside Sales Representative to quickly become a key player and contributor to ECONSTEEL.Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with current customers and identify opportunities to upsellPursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, onsite meetings, and referralsAbility to identify key decision makers at multiple levels within an organizationConduct research on potential customers and industries to pinpoint strategic needs and challengesConduct research on steel market trends and pricingProvide excellent customer service and problem solvingDevelop a strong understanding of ECONSTEEL's supplier networkQuickly adopt ECONSTEEL's procedures and internal softwareQuoting and Order ProcessingCollaborate with Inside Sales team on existing accounts and new opportunitiesStrong sales skills and ability to close dealsDevelop a strong knowledge of steel (grades, sizes, additional processing, and manufacturing processes)Ability to understand steel and industry specificationsAbility to read and understand customer printsHighly organized and motivated with a business development mindsetExperience:3-5 years of steel selling experience preferredQualifications:Self-StarterProblem SolvingDecision MakingTeam PlayerClient FocusedCompetitiveMulti-Tasking and PrioritizingStrong Written and Verbal Communication SkillsBusiness AcumenKnowledge of Selling SteelKnowledge of metals and industry applications preferredAbility to travel within and beyond territoryJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceExpense accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offTravel reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: On the road
