CNC Machinist ProgrammerEast Petersburg, PA Produce machined parts on manual or CNC machinesSet up mills & lathes by installing & adjusting three and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, etc.Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpiecesAdhere to international quality standardsFollow safety procedures & regulationsComplete preventative maintenance requirements and manufacturer's instructionsWork consistent, full-time hours, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with available overtimeWe seek a CNC Machinist Programmer who will program, set up, and operate manual or CNC machines to produce machined parts. Our company provides protective coatings for various products, including medical instruments, lighting fixtures, automotive parts, and industrial components. If you have experience with a CAD program and CNC machining, consider joining our team. Our Ideal CNC Machinist Programmer:Experienced: 1-3 years of CNC Machining experience is required.Tech Savvy: experience with Mastercam, Gibb, or similar programming experience is strongly desired.Effective Communicator: Our CNC MachinistProgrammer will communicate all actions, issues, and needs to the incoming workers during shift changes. This includes making notes of progress and problems with the machines.Reliable: Can be trusted to work independently and manage your daily schedule effectively.Mechanical: Ability to use hand tools, operate machinery safely, and inspect own work.
