Title: Director of Regulatory Reporting Office Status: Hybrid-Jersey City 1-2x per weekSalary: $200,000-$215,000This multinational banking company is looking for a Director of Regulatory Reporting within the Banking and Finance industry. This group operates in over 40 countries while being one of the largest financial institutions.Details:Oversees the preparation, review FRY-9C, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15, regulatory reports for the broker dealer entity including FINRA and SEC reports (Focus, SSOI, OBS, SIS), FRB's TIC B reports and all other US department of Commerce reports.Support the team's technical development over Regulatory Reporting including US GAAP. Interact and work with the group companies within the firm to reconcile difference and perform regulatory calculation.Continue to improve the process control effectiveness of the CUSO regulatory reports.Maintain and update EUC procedure and inventory list and the desk procedures manual to reflect changes in regulatory requirements.Ensure accurate and timely completion of all regulatory reports.Supportparticipate in regulatory reporting examinations, internal and external audits.Responsible to work with other various departments to support regulatory reports enhancement projects and work with team to participate in end user testing.Keeping abreast of all the regulatory changes related to regulations that is impacting BHC regulatory reports.Responsible to implement latest quarterly maintenance release into Reg-Reporter application.Qualifications:Strong knowledge of BHC (e.g. FRY 9C and FFIEC009009a reports), FRY 15 and broker dealer regulatory reporting requirements and report preparationStrong knowledge on financial products such derivatives, repo, securities, loans and leasesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of internal control frameworksBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.CPA or CFA is a big plus.FINRA Series 27 license preferred.
