They can translate financial data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision making to help the company achieve goals. They approach financial analysis with a critical mindset, questioning assumptions, identifying potential biases and considering various scenarios to make informed judgements. They provide budgeting and financial analysis for the organization's operating and capital budgeting for various divisions of the business which could include: ecommerce, wholesale, international, retail and restaurant divisions and Corporate departments. Assist in preparing the annual division budgets and reforecasts and ensures that actual performance meets or exceeds budget. Conduct financial analysis projects and statistical studies. Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports for all divisions and identify trends.BE THE ISLAND GUIDEOverall responsibilities will include analysis and reporting on divisional financial performance, (including expense and cost of goods sold) and other costs related to the business for accuracyAssist in specialized assignments related to financial analysis of new projects and or venturesPrepare and analyze monthly financial reportsAssist in preparation of quarterlyannual financial reports and schedules provided to management and parent companyAssist in development of models for budgeting, forecasting, 5-year plan as well as other ad hoc analysisPrepare and analyze daily sales reports for all divisions and identify trendsImplementing, coordinating, and contributing to other projects that require financial reviewCreate financial analysis tools and processesDevelop annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts in the areas assignedAssist in senior management budget reviewsAssist in the development of budgeting tools, systems, and processesAssist in modeling labor & benefits costs of various divisions as assignedFlexible for other duties as needed to help support the overall business.Essentials For Life In ParadiseGenerally, 6+ years in Accounting with at least 3+ years in financial analysis3+ years in a retail company; restaurant & wholesale experience a plus2+ years' experience managing complex projects and prioritiesExcellent computer skills, including MS Office (including advanced Excel & PowerPoint); Visio, & AccessSQL a plusExperience in public accounting andor auditing or commensurate experienceExperience with retail &or restaurant point of sale and inventory systemsExperience with ERP Financial Systems (SAP preferred)Experience with inventory costing and inventory managementExperience with Reporting (merchandise, accounting, budgeting) and BI ToolsStrong understanding and experience with budgeting (SAP BPC preferred), financial, & reporting systemsExpert analytical skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multi-task and quickly switch between open projectsExperience managing and manipulating large amounts of complex dataMultiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.Rate Range: $78,981.38-$131,635.63 annuallyMahalo (thank you) for your interest in Tommy Bahama!Tommy Bahama participates in E-Verify.
