FlexStaff is seeking a Sales Representative for our client, a Nassau County based food importer and distributor. This position is full-time, hybrid (3 daysweek in the office). *outside sales in the food wholesaledistribution industry required* RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct outside sales activities within assigned territory to meet sales targetsBuild and maintain relationships with existing customers as well as growing our customer baseIdentify and pursue new business opportunitiesUtilize CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer accountsProvide technical sales support and product information to customersAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential sales strategies and assist purchasing team with buying forecastNegotiate pricing and contracts with customers and prepare and assist with bidsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in outside sales in the food industry is requiredStrong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targetsStrong project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and translate creative ideas into action with a clear ROI.Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment and able to meet deadlines, stay focused, be self-motivated and show integrityExcellent account management and customer service skillsAbility to analyze market data and identify sales opportunities, must be a critical thinkerStrong communication and presentation skills BENEFITS Competitive compensation and benefits packageMedical, Dental, Vision401KPaid time off
