Job Title: Logistics Administrative Lead                  Company Description:Express Tubes, Inc. is a custom manufacturer of cosmetic packaging. We are recruiting an energetic and teachable candidate to assist our logistics, production, and sales teams in order to enhance operations and support long-term company growth. Job Summary: The Logistics Administrative Lead will work closely with our logistics, production, and sales teams to provide operational support. This position will be responsible for updating the production schedule status once per week in NetSuite. In addition, this position will assist with administrative and compliance tasks to support logistics, production, and sales. The individual in this position will present a positive image of the organization while facilitating general communications and the flow of information to all stakeholders. The role will include identifying problems, recommending solutions, and analyzing vendor performance.   Duties and Responsibilities: ·      Updating status fields in Netsuite·      New Vendor Set-Up·      V-Trust quality inspection submissions·      Manage freight claim submissions·      Receive, print and code vendor invoices and submit to AP for payment·      Assisting sales with special client projects and needs·      Preparing weekly wire transfer payment requests for international vendors·      Assist with updating retain sample library·      Routing PPS samples to clients for approvals·      Assist with organizing and coordinating trade shows, including material shipments to trade shows·      Producing bar code labels for specific clients·      Preparing certificates of conformity (COCs and COAs)·      Managing & replenishing office supply stock·      Manage special client reporting·      Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Guidelines:ExperienceTrainingEducationBABS in Business, Operations, Production, Logistics or Supply Chain (or equivalent experience)3-5 years previous experience within a manufacturing environmentFamiliar with lean techniques and continuous improvement training and implementation Knowledge Of:Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)Proficiency test for Excel may be required3-5 years' experience working within an ERP with MRPWorking knowledge of Current General Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Thorough understanding of supply chain conceptsQuality and regulatory agency requirements (importing, exporting, labeling, etc.)Effective inventory planning and scheduling techniques SkillsAbilities:·      Outstanding negotiating skills with the ability to present win-win results·      Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills·      Maintain excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders·      Objective driven, with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail·       Possess excellent problem-solving skills and able to work efficiently in a multi-tasked environment
