Come join our team where you can make an impact today!WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs our Business Development Representative, you will work as an ambassador for our company. You are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers. You will learn about our services and products so you can effectively present them to others - both our suite of Utility Billing Services and our submetering systems. You must build trust and provide support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales. You will work with the Sales Manager to build a great team and process to effectively serve our customers. You will:Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customersEducate customers on how products or services can benefit themAbility to communicate technical details with customers and internal teamSell the company's products or services to customersProactively go through the current client base to grow our billing services accountsWork to increase our billing services capture rate from equipment only salesMaintain records of all sales leads andor customer accounts using our CRM SoftwareIdentify, investigate, research, and target prospects within property management and other multi-unit industry groupsConduct research and data collection to understand a customer's specific needsAnswer incoming leads (calls, emails, etc.) to help clients find a solution with our productsProvide support to Sales Manager to help with calls, inquiries, and proposalsSupport the sales team in developing pipeline process and effectively follow up with prospectsManage deadlines and communicate consistently with team members and customers in a clear and concise mannerOrganize and present data to team members and potential customersTravel to meet prospects and customersAttend trade shows and events to build relationshipsMake outbound calls and emails for prospectsHelp in performing monthly webinars and lunch + learns for our customersWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORHaving a well-developed phone presence and a high comfort level in initiating conversations is essential to fulfilling the daily duties.
