Kirr, Marbach & Company, LLC (is an "All-Cap Value" equity manager located in Columbus, Indiana. KM was founded in 1975 and manages separate accounts and a mutual fund, the Kirr, Marbach Partners Value Fund (KMVAX--KM has assets under management of approximately $500 million. We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Equity Research Analyst to join our tight-knit team in Columbus, IN. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial research, constructing financial models, and providing investment recommendations. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in equity research, demonstrate a strong understanding of value investing principles, and have a proven track record of identifying compelling investment opportunities. Responsibilities:Perform company analyses as assigned by the CIO, ensuring thoroughness, timely delivery, and alignment with the investment philosophy.Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis to assess a company's financial health, including evaluations of cash flow, balance sheets, income statements, and key financial dependently identify and recommend potential investment opportunities, providing a clear rationale based on valuation metrics, growth prospects, and risk assessment.Engage in independent research through discussions with company management and industry experts, and by leveraging alternative data sources to gain unique insights.Create, maintain, and periodically update financial models in Excel to evaluate the financial performance of companies, incorporating scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.Keep abreast of daily market news, company announcements, and corporate events.Monitor and evaluate the performance of investments, providing updates and adjustments to recommendations as necessary, based on changing market conditions and company fundamentals.Ideal Candidate Profile:Holds a Bachelor's degree (an MBA is preferable).Possesses a minimum of five years of experience in equity research.Is working towards or has obtained the CFA designation.Demonstrates strong analytical and research capabilities.Proficient in constructing and managing detailed financial models.Has a robust understanding of financial markets and the investment process.Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, which is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.Please send cover letter and resume to
