Join us!About the Program and Position:The NYC-based Operations Department is a support department serving social service programs located in 8 states. This department procures, services and oversees office spaces, day-to-day logistics and maintenance issues, and is comprised of a team of administrative professionals. This department makes a difference by maintaining a professional, comfortable and safe working environment for all of its assigned office locations.The Director of Operations will oversee the leases, act as building management liaison, and provide property oversight to ensure overall safety, cleanliness and presentation of the NYC, HSPRS, Pennsylvania, Florida, Delaware, and other offices as assigned. The Director Of Operations must have familiarity with all programs to provide ongoing support to the offices and staff. This position will require innovative thinking and an individual who takes initiative. The Director of Operations will need to be confident in providing guidance and taking the lead to make decisions regarding department and agency needs while also welcoming suggestions from program staff and management as needed.How you get to use your skills...Oversee leases and provide property oversight for NYC, HSPRS, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, and other offices as assigned.Supervise assigned staff, including the Manager of Operations.Act as liaison for building management.Serve as the point person for communications, projects, construction, etc with a professional and friendly demeanor.Create a connection between programs and departments and steward a consumer-centered, staff-building culture.Manage projects for each of the assigned departments, including timelines with completion municate progress and needs for project completions to AVP of Operations, COO, President CEO and other members of upper management as needed.Build and maintain systems so there is consistency within each site and across the department.Research and maintain current regulations and guidance documents for programs, departments, and buildingproperty management.Support with expansion projects, research, and events.Attend internal and external training to stay up to date on program changes.Assist with training for staff as needed.Coordinate marketingpublicity needs for the NYC Region Office and other offices, as assigned.Respond in a positive and respectful manner to diversity among the agency's service population and staff.Assist with all other tasks and serve on committees as assigned.Schedule:Regular hours entail 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday.Must be flexible to meet program needs.Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.On-call required.Why Cayuga Centers?Certified Great Place to Work ®Workplace Wellness Award FinalistCouncil on Accreditation (COA) AccreditedImplement best practices and evidence-based interventionsCommitted to employee professional development and advancementWe embrace change, innovation and opportunitiesOur diverse workforce acts and leads with human sensitivity and respectLarge and growing national footprintExperience and Skills:Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceExcellent office organization skills and ability to multitask and handle a fast paced environment and navigate change.Bilingual - English and Spanish is required. All agency documents and records are in English, so English writing proficiency is required.
