Apply now!Location: 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315Position Summary:This role is responsible for the strategic development of current customers and cultivating new customer business partnerships. This individual will work cross functionally to ensure we exceed our customers' supply chain expectations. Provide value added solutions, programs & tools that fosters success in company's business that differentiate us from our competitors. Effectively communicate with management customer performance and opportunity analysis that provide growth opportunities within assigned customer portfolio.What You'll Do:Engage in regular contact with customers to identify needs and provide integrated full scope solutions.Ensure retailers understand all the services the Company provides. Create and execute sales and marketing plans specific to individual retailer based upon consumer, category, and competitive insights that are aligned with the customer's strategy and focus on driving growth and market share. Measure the success or failure of business-building initiatives and identify opportunity gaps that can be corrected as needed to ensure growth. Assist with negotiating supply agreements that drive improved financials.Prepare various analyses of customer performance, track inbound and outbound inventory trends, pricing management, and market share performance and opportunity; recommend change or future actions based on such analysis.Provide management with updates on key account sales, programs, and services, and present new ideas to upper management to increase sales.Work cross functionally to lead new customer onboarding implementation.Here's what you'll need: Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Marketing, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years combined experience in sales, account management andor portfolio management; experience with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) preferred andor value-added fresh food to go preferred. Experience in retail grocery management, wholesale, fresh food, or food industry environment preferred. Excellent ability to prioritize and self-motivate. Strong working knowledge of products and services, and industry trends. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills including a strong ability to present new ideas and persuade individuals and thrive on networking. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, including evaluating possible outcomes. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to travel up to 25%.
