Financial Analyst Senior Accountant We are seeking a Financial Analyst Senior Accountant with a manufacturing company background for eLoghomes, a national marketer and producer of log home kits. The position is based at our corporate office in Battleboro, NC. This is a fast growing company with a differentiated approach to sales, marketing, and installation service vs. the industry. The primary responsibilities of the role will be to assist with month end close, create reporting for Key Performance Indicators across the business, and serve as a business partner to each of the team leaders in analysis of their functional area. This will also include working cross functionally with the VP of Operations to track and monitor cost allocations, costing of materials, inventory analysis, and support the production scheduling analysis as needed. The position reports to the VP of Finance.Key responsibilities include:Reconciling GL accounts, preparing supporting schedules, posting adjusting journal entries, variance analysis, and preparing monthly financial and KPI reporting dashboard packagesWork with the leadership team on ad-hoc analysis to analyze trends in the business and provide insights for financial forecasts and modelingInventory analysis, coordinate the physical inventory cycle count processes, ensuring accuracyAnalyze and streamline various processes across the business with an emphasis on continuous productivity improvementParticipate in the setup and implementation of the new ERP system Other tasks:Update and track status of each job order (billings vs payments)Monthly sales tax filings and property tax filingsCalculate payments for sales commission program on an ongoing basisOther duties and projects as assigned Qualifications include:4-year degree with a concentration in accounting or related fieldMinimum two years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing companyKnowledge of US GAAP and accrual based accountingTeam player & strong work ethicHighly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel graphs and pivot tables. Power BI or similar data visualization tool is a plus.Experience in ERP systemsRoot cause analysis, FP&A, lean manufacturing, and or 5S experience is a plusPosition may require lifting up to 25 lbs.About the company:eLoghomes is a fast-growing log home package manufacturer, and offers construction services to our customers through a network of specialized builders that work with us.
