Vice President of Finance Location: Vernon Hills, IL 60061Status: Full Time, Employee Position Summary:Reporting to the President, this role manages accounting, financial, supply chain and other administrative duties. The VP of Finance is a key member of the Prairie City Bakery executive team and participates in strategic and tactical decision making.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accounting & Reporting·     Manage the monthly and year end accounting close process.·     Oversee all receivable, payable and payroll processing.·     Monitor and manage cash and credit risks.·     Ensure strong internal controls. Finance & Planning·     Lead annual planning process.·     Provide analysis and commentary on results and implications for future periods (revenuecostsprofit)·     Review input costs, account programs and trade promotions to ensure business and financial goals are met. Supply Chain·     Lead and manage all elements of procurement, warehousing, and transportation.·     Ensure adequate inventory is available while optimizing product code and investment in inventory. Other·     Oversee human resource policy and employment benefit programs.·     Interact with McKee Foods corporate groups, primarily accounting, treasury, and benefits teams.Requirements: ·     Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting is required.·     MBA, CPA andor CMA preferred.   ·     Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior management role, ideally with a food manufacturer or food ingredient supplier·     Hands on knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. ·     Experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.   ·     "Roll up your sleeves" can-do attitude, capable of working in a lean, entrepreneurial, and fast paced environment. Prairie City Bakery was founded more than 25 years ago by former Sara Lee Bakery executives and is now a proud member of the McKee Foods family, best known for its Little Debbie® brand of snack cakes. Prairie City Bakery provides the foodservice, convenience store, and grocery channels with innovative sales building programs and award-winning quality baked goods, including our famous Ooey Goory Butter Cakes, Down Home Cookie and Bars, Cinnamon Rolls, Muffins, and Donuts.  Be part of the success! At Prairie City Bakery, individual efforts make a difference. We offer large company expertise in an entrepreneurial environment. If you are looking for a great position that can grow as you grow, enjoy a fast-paced environment that is both challenging and rewarding and possess a positive, make-it-happen attitude, the VP of Finance position at Prairie City Bakery may be the opportunity you have been searching for. Apply today!  An Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer
