About the Role:Fine Fettle is seeking a Brand & Design Lead to spearhead our brand strategy and directly contribute to the creation of design work across all platforms. This role is uniquely positioned within our cannabis retail and wholesale company, requiring a blend of visionary strategic thinking and practical design skills. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas to life, navigating the complexities of the regulated cannabis industry to create compelling, compliant, and effective branding, packaging, and marketing materials. This is a hands-on role that will influence the direction of Fine Fettle's visual identity and creative output, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.The Work You'll Do:Strategic Brand Leadership: Develop a comprehensive brand strategy that communicates Fine Fettle's values and vision, ensuring alignment across all consumer touchpoints.Design Execution: Produce high-quality design work for a variety of needs, including digital marketing, packaging, in-store displays, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.Creative Direction: Provide direction and feedback on all creative projects, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and enhance the brand's market presence.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, retail, product development, and external agencies to ensure a unified and impactful brand experience.Retail Store Layout and Design: Oversee the design and layout of retail spaces to ensure an engaging and brand-consistent shopping experience, optimizing the use of space for product display and customer flow.Market Awareness: Stay ahead of design trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the cannabis industry to inform creative decisions and strategies.Who You Are:You are a visionary design leader with a proven track record of creating impactful visual content.Your portfolio showcases your ability to lead design initiatives across various mediums and styles.A deep understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and composition guides your work.You excel in delivering exceptional results through analysis and continuous improvement.Collaboration is a core value, and you enjoy working closely with diverse teams to bring ideas to life.A problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to driving brand excellence.You are extremely organized and can thoughtfully execute design work on tight deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic brand development role.Exceptional design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, digital and print design, and creative strategy.Experience in the cannabis industry or other regulated fields is highly preferred.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
