We are looking for a Wealth Management Operations Specialist who will play a key role in the firm's operations group. Wealthstream Advisors, Inc. has been named one of the Best Places to Work for Financial Advisers by InvestmentNews in 2024 for the fourth year in a row. Job Title: Wealth Management Operations Specialist Salary and Benefits: Base salary $65,000- $80,000 based on experience plus benefits including discretionary bonus, healthcare benefits, 401k and more.  Job Overview:  This is a full-time opportunity in our New York City office. This role is an additional hire to a growing team. The Wealth Management Operations Specialist will report to the Director of Custodian Operations.   Responsibilities:  o Complete daily brokerage operations tasksworkflows to ensure that all operational procedures and risk controls are followed, documented, and properly maintained.o Ability to identify opportunities for improving and automating everyday manual processes, meeting deadlines, and paying close attention to detail. o Communicating with clients on their accounts. Clear and courteous communication is highly valued for success in the role.o Provide accurate, timely, and effective support for clients, including processing account paperwork and addressing client inquiries: o  Process and follow up on account paperwork, set up client accounts, maintain client files and records, and generate appropriate statements and reporting.o  Act promptly and effectively to address client inquiries and requests and provide proactive communication and information, as appropriate. Research and resolve problems and appropriately escalate opportunities to the advisorsleaders.o  Complete cashiering responsibilities and ACHwirecheck requests.o  Provide ongoing account maintenance and review of new and existing account activity.·        Build and maintain effective internal working relationships and support teamwork in meeting company goals:o  Initiate andor participate in projects andor initiatives as appropriate with the intent of continual improvement in processes, client experience, etc.o  Provide support to financial advisors, analysts and fellow operations colleagues to meet client and firm needs.o  Assist with execution of the strategic visiongoals of the firm. Job Skills and Attributes:  ·        High attention to detail skills ·        Work well under pressure ·        Open to feedback and training ·        Positive can do attitude ·        High sense of urgency as it relates to new client account creation and management ·        Strong written and communication skills·        Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, firm culture and style·        Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adhere to deadlines·        Excellent teamwork and communication skills·        Hold oneself accountable for work product ·        Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team   Ideal Candidates Will Have:  ·        Bachelor's degree ·        1-3 years of operations experience in a financial services firm or bank ·        Prior experience at previous custodians (i.e., Schwab, Fidelity) a plus ·        CRM experience, Advisor Engine CRM a plus ·        Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
