Our teams are proudly ranked first amongst their peers and are all dedicated toward our core mission of providing our clients and partners with the necessary data, market access, and financing options to help them succeed in the new energy transition.Due to growth-driven expansion of its Sales Trading business, Karbone is currently seeking a Market & Credit Risk Manager; Renewable Energy CommoditiesResponsibilities:Analyze various elements of market and credit risk primarily related to renewable energy commodity transactions with a wide range of counterpartiesAnalysis and review includes, but not limited to, counterparty, credit, market, and liquidity risks; deal structure, contracts and agreements; regulatory, program, platform, and counterparty complianceCalculate, monitor, report on, and address any issues regarding Value at Risk (VaR, CVaR), stress testing, and P&L impactsPrepare and present written Executive and Risk Committee summaries, comment on credit applicationsCoordinate with the trading desks and management teams to ensure thorough yet expedited credit review process and adherence to risk policies and limitsMonitor positions and credit exposures of counterparties and portfolio, identify any areas for potential optimization and additional profitabilityMonitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), promptly identifying potential areas of concern and instituting preventive measuresQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, andor Accounting preferredFinancial Risk Manager (FRM) a plusExperience of 5+ years in a commodities focused market andor credit risk positionBase salary range of $125k-$185k+ commensurate with experienceExcellent communication skills, interpersonal aptitude, and strong commercial perspectiveIdeal candidates will demonstrate strong initiative, detail-orientation, results-orientation, innovation, and an entrepreneurial attitude, with the ability to thrive in a team dynamic
