SUMMARYManage relationship with customers to achieve annual sales objectives. Develop and implement sales plans for achieving sales objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESNegotiate motor inquiriesAssemble technicalcommercial proposal dataMake customer presentationsDevelop product knowledge of all productsProvide feedback on competitive pricing and strategyBe proficient in the order entry processLead selling team effortsMake sales calls on customersBe cognizant of antitrust laws and company policiesCounsel and assist in training Associate and Inside NegotiatorsDevelop a proven track record in sales by selling a minimum of 100% of assigned loadingEstablish, implement, review, and modify sales plans jointly with TWMC to sell and service assigned customersProvide technical assistance to customers in the selection, application, operation and maintenance of TWMC products and servicesBe aware and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities. Communicate such information to the operating divisions.Develop and maintain a cooperative and credible working relationship with other TWMC personnel to assure that the customer receives the best possible unified effort and serviceManage expense allowances to obtain greatest return on investment and submit an expense report by the end of each monthSupport the Total Quality effort by:Providing timely, accurate information for order entryElevating quality issues to the attention of managementEnsuring that accurate information flows to and from our customersServing on quality action teams as directed by managementImplement new product introductions and programsCollect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence data on customer needs, preferences and buying habits, as well as that of competitive manufacturersPrepare salesbudget forecasts and a Commercial Operations Report by the end of each monthProvide necessary reports, surveys and marketing information in a timely manner, as requested by your managerRegular attendance is an essential function of this positionCompliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is requiredCompliance with all Company policies is required, including adherence to Company ISO 9001 Standards and compliance with Company Affirmative Action Plan and Company Safety proceduresIncorporate the Standards of Excellence as outlined by TECO-Westinghouse (Pride, Desire, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Follow-through) into daily activities in order to create a Total Quality environment through personal commitment to excellenceOther functions as required (non-essential functions)QUALIFICATIONSProven track record of successful sales in Field Sales positions dealing directly with customers. Use computer software programs of Excel, Word and PowerPoint to write reports or create presentations.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (BABS) from four-year college or university; and one to two years of experience as an Inside or Associate Sales Representative andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceBasic productmarketapplication knowledgeWillingness to relocateLead, train, and serve as a role model for Associate and Inside Sales RepresentativesLANGUAGE SKILLSCommunicate effectively with internal and external customersWrite speeches, reports, manuals, correspondence, and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and formatEffectively present information to top management, public groups, andor boards of directorsMATHEMATICAL SKILLSCalculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
