Our dedication to excellence has been unwavering for over forty years.The OpportunityWe are looking for a driven Key Account Manager to join our North American business development team based in Schenectady, NY and manage accounts in the Aerospace and Defense markets. This role is pivotal for promoting and selling our specialized materials, primarily used in composite applications and essential components in resin, film, and adhesive carriers. You will play a key role in securing new business opportunities, expanding sales within existing accounts, and integrating our materials into new products and emerging markets. Your primary focus will be to work with Tier 2 and Tier 3 aerospace companies, along with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and defense contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deepen relationships within key customer organizations.Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic prospecting.Conduct comprehensive quarterly business reviews.Exceed customer expectations through exceptional management and service.Accurately forecast demand and manage supply agreements.Customize presentations and solutions for potential clients.Collaborate with TFP experts to deliver unmatched solutions.What will make you successful?An understanding of composite (FRP) layups and relevant manufacturing processes.Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and CRM tools.Data Analysis and Reporting Skills.Excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.Willingness to travel 25-40% of the time via plane within North America and Europe.Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.Holds a B.S. or B.A Degree, with a preference for backgrounds in Chemistry, Material Science, Physics, or Engineering (Relevant experience considered in lieu of degree)More than 5 years of relevant experience.Performance ExpectationsDevelopment and execution of account plans.Timely and accurate sales forecasting.Expansion of the client network and engagement.Achievement of specified key performance indicators.Why Choose Us?
