CPAs for Hire redefines CPA and CFO services by offering the following stress-free solutions under one roof - accounting, tax, advisory, CFO services (through CFOs for Hire brand) and fiduciary wealth planning (through CWOs for Hire).Visit to learn more.Position Summary**Local candidates only**We have an immediate need for a CFO Associate to serve local small business clients as their part-time CFO addition to meeting the qualifications listed below, our ideal candidate:thrives where hard work is appreciated and new ideas are welcome, andis an entrepreneurial-minded accounting professional eager to assist small business ownersResponsibilities:Work directly with clients on-site as their part-time CFOControllerWhen not scheduled as a part-time CFO, work with other assigned clients with their accountingResearch, resolve and document technical accounting issuesSchedule virtual or in-person meetings with clients as necessary to review financial statement resultsProcess payroll and payroll tax returns for assigned clientsIf a MO licensed CPA, meet annual CPE requirementsQualifications:BachelorsMasters Degree in AccountingCPA License - Missouri (preferred, or eligible to reinstate a plus)10+ years of combined experience in public accounting and corporate accounting2+ years in a Controllership roleHighly proficient in Microsoft ExcelHighly proficient in QuickBooksQuickBooks Online is a plusPrior self-employment a plusWork Location: Chesterfield Valley OfficeCPAs for Hire offers an extensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, LTD, and a 401(k) plan with 4% match.
