Position Summary:The Store Manager partners with the Assistant Store Manager and Director of Retail to lead a profitable and customer-centric environment through the successful development of a team.Responsibilities include managing all aspects of a single store including; hiring and developing talent, maintaining consistent store controls and applying merchant skills to curate a compelling customer experience.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)SALES & PROFITABILITYMeets or exceeds sales goals, while keeping labor costs stable. Controls expenses to increase profitabilityAssess the store business using company reporting tools, prioritizes, and creates action plans to impact resultsAssesses sales forecasting and payroll management to facilitate an effective daily zone chartCommunicates priority product and allocation needs to SM and Director of RetailLEADERSHIPAppropriately filters and communicates all store operations, process, and customer initiativesIs an entrepreneur, takes smart risks with measurable resultsProvides global insight in relationship to the customer experience and communicates information to district team and home officePEOPLE & DEVELOPMENTRecruits, hires, and retains top talent to build bench for the store and brandEnsures New Hires receive a thorough and thoughtful onboardingPlans and executes meetings and workshops that are collaborative, educational and motivationalAdministers performance appraisals, sets goals and conducts consistent touch-bases with direct reportsEnsures that coaching and counseling is consistent and timelyTakes responsibility for own development and professional growth, identifies and trains replacement in preparation for career progressionCUSTOMER CONNECTIONCultivates an environment of genuine customer connectionDemonstrates extraordinary service, leading by example on the sales floorActs as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values and aestheticUnderstands multi-channel business - implements processes and utilizes tools to better service the customerAESTHETIC UNDERSTANDING & APPLICATIONHas a strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of the brand and core customerOversees stock-to-sales processes and upholds presentation standardsPartners with the Visual Manager to assess and impact merchandising, floor planning,Ensures the merchandising processes are collaborative, supported and well-plannedDIVISION OF RESPONSIBILITIESAccountable for maintaining a Retail Store Profit and LossResponsible for creating a "Weekly Recap Report" in order to account for weekly sales and provide a week in review for the Director of RetailEnsure that Payroll timecard approvals for all Retail Store employees are approved before Monday morning.Schedule weekly touch-bases with the sales staff keeping specific goals and targets in mind with each staff member.Track sales orders to ensure that all of the product orders are accounted for at all times. Ensure that all sales dollars are accounted for, when the product will ship and create spreadsheets to track sales.Responsible for the Retail Store Schedule, as well as ensuring that all store schedules are created and posted at least two weeks in advance.Ensure that all Retail Store employees are properly trained.Cultivate a selling atmosphere by ensuring that clienteling is happening with each sales associate, part-time and full-time.Responsible for maintaining the top 10 SKU's per product category for every category weekly.Ensure that visual presentation is upheld within the Retail Store.RUN THE SALES FLOORSupervisory Responsibilities:This position supervises the Assistant Manager, Sales Associates, Key Holders and Operations Lead.
