Job Description:

My client is an international financial services company seeking a Hedge Funds Credit Risk Analyst at the VP-level.This position will supply coverage for Hedge Funds and various sectors such as Banks, Broker Dealers, Mortgage Originators, Insurance Companies, REITs, and Government entities. You will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses of market, industry, and client credit, providing clear recommendations on credit decisions and suitable risk ratings. Additionally, you will prepare annual credit and industry reviews, monitoring monthlyquarterly financial performance as needed as well as perform credit due diligence and continuously monitor Counterparty performance and credit exposures within authorized limits, terms, and reporting requirements.Qualifications:Bachelors degree required5+ years of relevant credit experience with exposure covering at least a few of the sectors mentioned above (Hedge Funds and various sectors such as Banks, Broker Dealers, Mortgage Originators, Insurance Companies, REITs, and Government entities)Familiarity with the existing formats of capital markets transactions and originationsFamiliarity with documentation, including MSFTAMSLAMRA.Strong collaboration skills required both across the risk division and with other partners such as business lines, legal and compliance teamsAbility to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlinesThis position is based in NYC and is hybrid.
