Waave, a fast-growing tech startup revolutionizing the rideshare and taxi space, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager at Waave, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and scaling our operations to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for both drivers and riders.Responsibilities:1. Operational Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize Waave's operations, including fleet management, driver onboarding, and rider experience enhancements.2. Driver Onboarding: Oversee the driver onboarding process, including recruitment, background checks, and training, to ensure a steady and high-quality driver pool.3. Support the tech team with testing and implementing features based on customer and driver feedback as well as monitor progress.4. Investigate and set up systems for process automation. 5. Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with partners and suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain, including vehicle procurement and maintenance.6. Market Expansion: Lead efforts to expand Waave's presence into new markets, including regulatory compliance, market research, and launch planning.7. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, making data-driven decisions to improve processes.8. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain high service standards, including driver performance, customer feedback analysis, and incident resolution.9. Cost Management: Manage and optimize operational budgets, finding cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.10. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.11. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local and regional regulations related to rideshare services and ensure compliance in all operational aspects.12. Safety and Security: Promote and enforce safety and security measures to protect drivers, riders, and the Waave brand.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master's preferred).- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the tech or rideshare industry.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach. Able to identify    issues and implement solutions.- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.- Knowledge of rideshare and taxi industry regulations and trends.- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving startup environment.- Proficiency in using technology and software tools for operations management.- A strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively.Equity Package:As Operation Manager at Waave, you will receive equity in the company.
