The Role The International Account Manager- Independent Retailers at Milk Makeup is responsible for the management and development of the key international Independent accounts. This would include brick and mortar and ecommerce. They will develop and execute the business strategy through our international retail partner. This person will be an expert on Milk Makeup brand strategies, and effectively collaborate with the customer on business opportunities. This role will report directly into the Senior Director of International Accounts and is instrumental in maximizing sales, while driving overall growth and performance.What YOU'LL do:Account Management Own key account management of key independent retailersWork to achieve fiscal sales goals along with driving account profitability, working with customers to set sales targets, track performance, and address business needs of each, individual account Actively participate in Milk Makeups distribution strategy and ensure alignment with international and external stakeholders and field team Develop and maintain relationships with Category ManagersBuyers and internal customer teams to ensure long term success Act as the direct liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring all requirements are met Stay up to date with internal developments ensuring "˜International' input Own the ongoing day to day operations and key trade initiatives including sales reports analysis, coordination and communication with Sales + Trade & Product MarketingCoordinate customer meetings and distributor visits (samples, printing, scheduling, preparation and day of needs) Manage sell-in and sell through with customers, as specified, ensuring the best possible 360-degree programs and appropriate support Work with Demand and Merchandise planning to measure if Milk Makeup's activations are meeting sales benchmarks. Ensure promotional strategy will generate increased sales within budget set analyzing return on investment and promotions are correctly distributed to maximize sales Maintain documents on a regular basis to keep files up to date with current productslaunches with customers, as well as internal documents Maintain and update an accurate store list and door count - keep track of NSO's Assist with compilation and communication of pricing product changes Lead Brand onboarding process for existing and new markets with customers which include product assortment decisions, maintains weekly calls and agendas and manages the feedback loop between customer and internal MMU team Ensure weekly communication with each field team member Manage own creative briefing process for your accountManage lead in sending marketing assets to retailers - Receive, send and manage samples Own seasonal Market Week scheduling, weekly calls Define, agree (in conjunction with Senior Director of Accounts- lnternational) compile, coordinate and track ROI of promotional activities (Customer Specific Promotions, Paid Media, In- store Marketing, Events etc.,) with Brand Marketing team. Partner with the internal team to guide effective planning and allocation of resources across sampling, marketing, education, and activation Collaborate with social and creative teams for product and brand assets to ensure our retail partners have the most up to date images. Acts as the point person and projects manages any requests between the customers and the internal brand teams such as education, PR and Influencer strategies, VM, ect... InternalOperations Interface with Product Development, PlanningInventory, Production, and operations regarding pertinent Marketing Calendar updates & newness deadlines Works cross functionally with Marketing, Sales & Education and Visual Merchandise to drive a consistent brand message across all markets Coordinate and help develop and track launch plans for all new products, in conjunction with internal partners, ensuring quantities are accurately forecasted and launch assets are delivered on a timely manner Coordinate with VM on all new store activities and assortment revisions, including adding new Milk Makeup items to Gondola assortments. Coordinate and ship comps and samples when needed - excluding education gratis Works in collaboration with regulatory teams to ensure what assortment can be confirmed based on country specific compliance requirements Ensure all promotional and replenishment orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner, according to lead times Handle all the set-up forms - NPF, NIF, NLFLiaise with Visual Merchandising, Operations, Marketing and Creative teams to stay informed on product information and changes Partner closely with Logistics and Production teams on ship and back-in-stock dates to inform customers Compile and distribute product images and copy for independent retailersPull, organize, and record selling reports and assist with customer analysis Assist with brand and product training Coordinate new customer set up as needed With our especially accounts assures flawless, premium, personal omni-channel store operations and lifetime consumer experiences; from initial product launch to education, purchase, delivery and return. We'd like YOU to have: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from four-year college or university preferred, 3-5 years of related work experience in sales and marketing in global organizations, specifically within the beauty and cosmetics industries. A thorough knowledge of the International cycling market and its consumers is strongly preferred Entrepreneurial approach to operating and growing a business unit, with direct responsibility for P&L management Knowledge of effective sales & marketing practices and procedures, including analytical techniques used to accurately forecast sales and measure the effectiveness of sales & marketing programs Exposure to supply chain, product sourcing, operations, importing, warehousing and financial planning Ability to convey enthusiasm to others, well-developed leadership skills, proven ability to train, coach and inspire subordinates and peers to achieve their personal best Ability to establish rapport and relate effectively with individuals at all levels the organization, as well as business associates outside the company Well-developed organizational and time management skills. Ability to set priorities and meet reasonable deadlines consistently Experience in developing strategic partnerships and managing multiple projects simultaneously Great project management ability - organized and detail-oriented with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment Ability to travel domestically and internationally
