Job Description:

A Community Health clinic serving under-privledged communities, is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join their team. This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring team members to be onsite each Tuesday & Thursday in Renton.Overview of Responsibilities Provide feedback and communicate with clinic staff to obtain incomplete or missing information needed to process clean claims.Meetconference regularly with front desk staff for updates of billing and coding processes.Review and follow up on unpaid claims with insurance companies using system generated reports.Review, correct and re-bill insurance claim denials according to established guidelines.Participate in process improvement through the use of HPLM system.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.SkillsQualificationsAR experienceProficient with CPC and ICD-10 CodesInsurance knowledge and experienceAdditional SkillsMedicare and Medicaid experienceEPIC (preferred)Detail OrientedComputer ProficientQuick LearnerSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am8:30am start timePay: $19.44 - $23.62 per hourLength: 5 months Contract opportunity (possibility of extension or permanent hire)Benefits Provided by Medix:In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment.
