This role requires an individual with a strong track record in civil engineering, particularly in leading and managing diverse land development projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing project execution, ensuring quality deliverables, and fostering client relationships. Focus: Lead and manage a proficient civil engineering design team, focusing on residential and commercial land development projects. Oversee the production of comprehensive design plans and specifications, encompassing grading, erosion control, stormwater management, sanitary sewers, water mains, and private roadways. Review and approve civil engineering design calculations, drainage reports, and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Manage team dynamics, including assignments, mentoring initiatives, and maintaining stringent quality control standards throughout project lifecycle. Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing developers and local public agencies, actively contributing to proposal development and project acquisition efforts. Skill Set: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field. Registered PCE License in Nebraska. Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience. Proven team management skills and leadership ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and PM software. Strong technical expertise in civil design and computations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of ORDM, PERMIX, S&ID financing mechanisms, and project management.
