Job Description:Infosys is seeking a Network Engineer with strong interpersonal and technical skills to operate a large-scale LANWLAN network infrastructure deployed globally. The candidate will support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices. Heshe will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices, provide network documentation, monitor network usage, anticipate problems, and suggest solutions.Required Qualifications:• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mahwah, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.• At least 3 years of experience in WLAN technologies, Installing and managing Cisco Switches, Access points.• Experience on Routing and Switching protocols.• Experience on Cisco Meraki in Wireless.• Work experience on Cisco devices and troubleshooting on network WLC AP related issues.• Hands on experience on access list configurations, Vlans, various network technologies.• Hands on experience on troubleshooting various network management monitoring tools. Working experience of Ticketing tools.• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of Management.• Experience in performing Wireless site survey.• Identification, analysis, and resolution of problems regarding network & link management.• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery.• Hands on Experience on Cisco switches, Nexus switches, WLC, Access points.• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications:• Reporting & Documentation.• Good communication skills while Responding to Customers.• Understand and follow Service Level Agreements (SLA) within teams & vendors.• Knowledge and follow Various Industry Standard Process in-terms of Incident Management, Change Management, Problem management, etc.• Knowledge and awareness of ITIL standards and industrial best practices.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
