Job Description:

The Business Technology Services department is looking for a VP-level IT Business Analyst for Transactional Regulatory Reporting.The IT Business Analyst will work closely with Operations and Compliance to provide users support on Transactional Regulatory Reporting applications, and to deliver small to large projects, including Regulatory and Compliance evolutions, and strategic initiatives like modernizing legacy Transactional Regulatory Reporting applications. Position requires strong knowledge of Trade Life Cycle of Capital Markets products from Booking to Settlement, Transactional Regulatory Reporting, US broker dealer and transactional regulatory reporting, and solid experience with regulatory reporting IT systems.The candidate will focus on gathering requirements from stakeholders, write business requirements and functional specifications, liaise with IT developers, define, and execute test scripts and coordinate with end-users for UAT. The candidate will also help with planning and status reporting.The position involves interactions with Global Markets Pre Trade and Post Trade IT Teams and Head Office IT teams.For all that relates to Transactional Regulatory Reporting:Close collaboration with the user representatives (Compliance, Operations, etc...) to determine business requirements, define and document the business requirements.Perform and document impact and gap analysisAssess IT Solutions from Third party vendors vs in-house application to meet specific need of the businessWrite detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.Definition and execution of test scriptsCoordination of User Acceptance TestsProject scoping and planning, progress reporting, identification and management of issuesrisks and communications.Responsible for support of day-to-day issues on Transactional regulatory reporting: provide workarounds, investigate and identify root causes, propose fixes, and coordinate post-mortemQualifications:Minimum 6 years' experience in IT business analysis functions in the Finance industryDeep knowledge and experience on Regulatory Reporting and IT systems (In-house or Vendor applications), including TRACE, Blue Sheet, and CAT reporting.Solid knowledge of Capital Markets products and activities (Equity, Securities Lending, Fixed Income, Credit Trading)Experience with Legacy systems modernization or new system implementation.Being familiar with SQL is a plusAbility to analyze complex problems, with strong attention to detail and ability to provide solutions to problems.Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment on multiple applications.Successful candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S.A. indefinitely. The salary range for this position will be between $145,000 - $170,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package.
