We are currently seeking a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Based in San Leandro, CA this position requires minimum 2 two years of mechanical hardware design experience. BSME or higher degree is required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical components is required. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and implement product specifications in a stage gate product development process is a must.  Job responsibilities will includeCreating drawings for assemblies and individual componentsAssist in the Product design and development of new productsIncoming Quality control checks, testing and verification of componentsSimulating products on applicationsSimulating stress analysis of different material on the computerInvestigating and resolving any quality control issues,Updating drawing files along with Bills of MaterialsConduct product testingAssist in making proposals to existing product designs to improve or suit application requirementsPreparing appropriate project documentation, PPAP documentsAssist admin department with bill of materials and building partskits from componentsConducting product installation to check form, fit and functionAssist in checking product components against actual drawings,Conducting internal testing of product components for reliability. Creating simple jigs and fixtures for product testing.  Proficiency in Autocad andor PRO Engineer is preferred. Qualified candidates should send their resume to .
