With your hands-on skillset, you'll not only be a problem-solver but also an innovator in an environment that values growth and efficiency.Hours:Standard: 7 AM startOn-call Duty: Every third week, 247 availability, including weekends (Double pay for on-call responses)Summary:Located in the heart of East Hartford, CT, this vital position plays a key role in our Maintenance Team, specifically targeting control and electrical systems.Contribute to the seamless running of operations through upgrades, repairs, and meticulous maintenance.Your technical acumen will ensure the vitality of our plant's continuous operation"”24 hours, every day.Electrical & Instrumentation Responsibilities:Install, service, and enhance control systems and power distribution, including motors and PLCs.Calibrate and tune Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Interpret technical documents and electrical schematics.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical challenges.Maintain detailed equipment records and inventories.Mechanical Maintenance Responsibilities:Maintain bearings, gears, shafts, and various machinery components.Operate and master tools for repair and fabrication tasks.Oversee assembly and maintenance of mill piping, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Welding proficiency in multiple techniques.Construct components from designs and ensure alignment with precise fabrication techniques.Additional Skills:Knowledgeable in 480-volt 3 phase power systems.Skilled in the use of electrical meters and troubleshooting.Expertise in wiring, installation, and network cabling.Strong commitment to safety and maintenance of a clean work environment.Qualifications:3-5 years of multi-craft experience, with a strong focus on controls and electrical systems.Work Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with scheduled breaks.Ongoing on-call rotation, with a necessity for flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed.Embark on a career where your skills light up the production line and where every day presents an opportunity to shine.
